Last year the LSAA celebrated 25 years. When it started, the lightweight structures industry was in its infancy and we developed our design and fabrication skills largely in isolation from the rest of the world. Today, our members can stand proud on the world stage and regularly design and construct significant lightweight structures in all parts of Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and other corners of the globe.

Thursday and Friday October 25th and 26th 2007.
This two day event was held at the Crowne Plaza
2807 Gold Coast Highway, Surfers Paradise.

The 2007 LSAA Design Awards were held as part of the Conference Dinner on the Thursday night.

LSAA 2009 Conference and Design Awards

Details for this forthcoming Conference and Design Awards are being established.
Preliminary details should be available about Easter 2008.

For companies interested in entering, or sponsorship,
the following documents for the 2007 Conference may be taken as a guide.

It is likely that there will be a Design Award Category for Shade mesh applications
and possibly a section for new LSAA members in the industry.
Usual Categories are Small, Medium and Large Structures
and a category to cover innovation and special applications.
