    Fabric used at Mumbai Airport

  • ABC Radio National Interview "By Design" with Peter Lim and Chris Bosse. 21 October 2006

    Fabric Shelter
If the idea of a shelter made out of fabric only conjures up bad memories of damp camping holidays in a mouldy canvas tent, then this discussion will make you think again.
New technologies and materials, in the hands of clever engineers and architects, are resulting in some extraordinary large-scale fabric structures from entertainment pavilions to sports stadia.
Using computer technology and complex geometries, the tent is being reinvented for the 21st century.

    Guests
Peter Lim, Engineer, Tensys Engineering Analysis
Chris Bosse, Architect, (Formerly) PTW Architects.
    Presenter Alan Saunders
    Producer Mark Wakely
