PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

To create a lightweight façade structure for Jakarta Velodrome – extending the designs and concept developed with Cox Architecture for the Queensland State Velodrome for Indonesia.

STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS

The structural system consists of steelwork with a tension fabric.

MATERIALS

Steel and PVC/PES fabric

FABRICATION, CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE

All steelwork galvanized for low maintenance

COLLABORATION

Collaboration with architect and ESG to develop a system that can be produced overseas and fully transported to Indonesia for construction.

Works taking into the systems that ESG has built over the years for large demountable type events
